The linebacker out of Stone Mountain, Ga., signed a letter of intent with LSU. The announcement came less than a day after Sheppard told the News Sentinel that he was planning on signing with UT.
Sheppard had been committed to LSU since October but took a hard look at the Vols over the past few weeks.
