Fans in the lower level at Thompson-Boling tonight will be given out white or orange T-shirts with a plot to turn that level into an Orange and White checkerboard.

"The reaction from our fans has been incredible," said UT athletic director Mike Hamilton. "Unfortunately the number of upper level seats made outfitting the entire arena cost prohibitive, but we are encouraging fans who will be sitting in the upper level to join in on the fun by wearing the color that corresponds with their section."

UT wants fans in sections 201, 203, 205, 207, 209, 211, 213, 215, 217, 219, 221, 223, 225, 227, 229, 231, 300, 301A,303, 305, 307, 309A, 310, 311A, 313, 315A, 316, 317A, 319, 321, 323, 325A, 326, 327A, 329, and 331A to wear orange shirts.

Fans in sections 200, 202, 204, 206, 208, 210, 212, 214, 216, 218, 220, 222, 224, 226, 228, 230, 301, 302, 304, 306, 308, 309, 311, 312, 314, 315, 317, 318, 320, 322, 324, 325, 327, 328, 330, and 331 should wear white.

Last year's Senior Night honorees have taken radically different paths to professional basketball.

Scooter McFadgon is playing with the Harlem Globetrotters. Brandon Crump trotted the globe all the way to China and is playing for the Shanxi Dongshen team.

Ron Slay started the year in Israel but has moved to Casale in Italy. Vincent Yarbrough is the leading scorer for Viola in the top Italian league. Marcus Haislip is playing for Ulker in Turkey. He recently won the slam-dunk contest at the league all-star event. Isiah Victor is a veteran of the NBA's D League, averaging 17 points for the Roanoke Dazzle. The longevity award goes to Carlus Groves, still going strong to the hole for Trigueros in Mexico.
