No, this linebacker from Highland Springs (Va.) High School took five official visits and, for the most part, has kept quiet on where he may be leaning.
Miller said this week that he's still considering Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Most think it will come down to UT or North Carolina.
Miller maintains he's undecided but plans to make an announcement during Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
UT's best shot in landing Miller lies with defensive backs' coach Larry Slade, who is recruiting the 6-foot-3, 235-pounder.
"I think Coach Slade is a real cool guy," Miller said. "I established a good relationship with him because he kind of grew up in the same background that I've been in. That's big.
"He was raised the same way I was raised, in the ghetto. He had a rough life growing up. With your back against the wall, you've got to try to fight you're way out and make a name for yourself and do something big."
Miller visited with Slade and all of UT's coaches during his Oct. 8 official visit to Knoxville.
"I love Tennessee," Miller said. "It's beautiful at Tennessee."
Miller, however, said fans shouldn't glean too much from the affection in that response. An admitted college football fan, he said he's enjoyed all of his official visits.
"I just love college football, period," Miller said.
As for his tight-lipped approach to recruiting, Miller said there was a method to being mum.
"I don't want other schools to think I counted them out if I say I've got a leader," he said. "That will put a burden on other schools to try to work harder. I'm enjoying the whole thing."
Big Bounce Back: Jacque McClendon said he doesn't expect to be slowed by a sore right ankle this week. McClendon suffered the injury in Tuesday's practice but took part in the East squad's Wednesday morning scrimmage.
The 6-4, 325-pound lineman said it was the same ankle he hurt last season playing for Baylor School in Chattanooga.
McClendon, who committed to Tennessee in December 2004, was seen limping Tuesday but wasn't showing any ill effects of the injury on Wednesday.
"It's bothering me," McClendon said, "Just keep some ice on it, tape it up and go."
Scrimmage Report: McClendon wouldn't be surprised to see some high scoring by the East squad in Saturday's game after watching his offensive counterparts in the mid-week scrimmage.
"Our offense is pretty solid," McClendon said. "You give the ball to (wide receiver) Percy Harvin and (quarterback) Tim Tebow, our offensive line is just unreal."
Harvin and Tebow are committed to Florida.
