Tennessee moves up in polls
However, the Vols' climb in each of the polls were quite different.
In the Associated Press Top 25, Tennessee (14-3, 5-1 SEC) landed at No. 13, moving up six spots from last week. In the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll, the Vols are the 16th-ranked team, moving up four spots from last week.
Connecticut (18-1) remained the top-ranked squad in both polls, while Duke (19-1) stayed in second. Memphis (third), Villanova (fourth) and Gonzaga (fifth) round out the top 5.
Florida (18-2) dropped to No. 8 in the AP and No.7 in the coaches' after losing two straight. LSU (14-5) cracked the AP Top 25 at No. 24, but did not make the coaches' poll.
