Morgan chose the Hokies over Tennessee and Michigan.
Morgans commitment comes as no surprise. Virginia Tech was the only school the 6-foot, 190-pound safety visited among the three.
"I was comfortable with them," Morgan said. "I was ready to get it over with. It feels really good knowing where Im going so I can focus on my last year."
Morgan said Virginia Tech led the Vols and Wolverines virtually the entire recruiting process. He said UT would have had a better chance if they had offered more interest.
"I was feeling Tennessee at first," he said, "but they didnt show me they wanted me too much."
