Harrell undergoes tonsillectomy

Tennessee defensive tackle Justin Harrell was admitted to UT Medical Center for a tonsillectomy, according to a statement released by UT. Harrell was admitted Monday and underwent the procedure Tuesday before being released.

"Everything went well," said head athletic trainer Jason McVeigh said, "and we expect a full recovery."

Harrell is the lone starter returning from last season's defensive line

In School: Tight end Luke Stocker from Madison High in Berea, Ky., Jacques McClendon from Baylor in Chattanooga and Powell's Lee Smith are enrolled for the first session of summer school, which started Monday.

Most of UT's 2006 signees will arrive in July when the second session of summer school begins. A handful will arrive just before the fall semester.
