The 6-foot-4, 220-pound recorded 83 tackles (11 of them for loss), four sacks and two interceptions as a junior last season,
"Its been a lot of fun and its flattering, but at the same time its been kind of stressful, talking to all these coaches," said Walker, who has made unofficial visits to Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Louisville, Kentucky and Arkansas and still has plans to visit Tennessee the last week of June, Clemson, Miami (Fla.) and Michigan.
"Ive gotten to meet a lot of coaches that Ive seen on TV and everything, and its cool to have all these schools wanting me. The main thing they like about me is that Im really long, can cover a lot of ground and make big plays."
Walker, whos received 105 letters from Vanderbilt and more than 80 from LSU, said hell narrow his list to five or six schools before the 2006 season kicks off in August, then make a final decision after the season.
Schools to have offered him include Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Louisville, LSU, Miami, Michigan and Memphis.
