Brooks picks Jackson St.
Brooks finished up classes at UT this week.
The final straw at UT for Brooks, a junior who never was a starter for the Vols, was a fight with basketball players Jemere Hendrix and Andre Patterson.
Hendrix was dismissed from UTs basketball team. Patterson was suspended but was later reinstated.
A 6-foot-2, 248-pound linebacker/defensive end, Brooks was one of UTs top prospects in the 2003 signing class. The former Central-Merry High School stars career was sidelined by a string of off-field incidents, most of which involved violence with fellow students but he was never charged.
