Fulmer was critical of SEC officials in his postgame press conference, citing specific examples of calls he thought were missed against LSU and South Carolina.
"Coach Fulmer has violated the Southeastern Conference Code of Ethics," Slive said in a statement released Wednesday. "Any further violation of conference policies of this nature may result in additional penalties."
Fulmer said he expected the reprimand.
"I should have worked through the SEC office channels to express my frustrations," Fulmer said.
Fulmer said after practice Wednesday that he would address his issues with officiating to the conference at a later date.
South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier received a reprimand last week for saying on his weekly radio show that officials who live in the Southeast could be biased.
