The 6-foot-2, 295-pound Langley said he will choose between Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Penn State.
Langley, who has approximately 45 scholarship offers, said he narrowed his list to the final four because of the schools' football atmospheres.
"It's real important," he said. "I'm going to be there for the next four or five years. I have to have a good coaching staff behind me and people around us who know what kind of work we're putting in."
Langley, who plans to graduate in December and enroll in college in January, will take an official visit to Penn State this weekend. He has already visited UT, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Michigan State. He said he eliminated the Spartans because of an unimpressive visit.
Langley will use his mid-term enrollment to get a jump start on his freshman season in college so he will be able to contribute in 2007.
"All those schools offer me early playing time wherever I go," he said.
Langley visited UT on Sept. 16. He called the Vols' game day atmosphere the "ultimate experience."
"When I got there and I saw that much orange, tailgating, everything, I never thought it would be that good," he told the News Sentinel after his visit. "The entire town, they don't know who you are, but they treat you like you're family."
Langley has been forced to hurry through the recruiting process because of his early graduation. He said he looks forward to having the decision made.
"I'll be glad," he said. "I'll be able to focus on the rest of my season."
