The 6-foot-5, 275-pound defensive lineman from Georgia Military College raved about Tennessee's academic offerings as he was headed back to Milledgeville, Ga., after his official visit concluded on Sunday.
"It went real good," Wynn said of the trip. "They're hard on academics and make sure their players graduate from there. I think it's good. They pressure the kids to graduate to get a degree."
Schoolwork wasn't the only aspect of the trip that made it worthwhile, according to Wynn. A visit with two defensive tackles -- Justin Harrell, who is out with a season-ending injury, and sophomore Demonte Bolden -- shed some light on the football field.
"They said if I come there I'd get a lot of playing time because they need defensive linemen," Wynn said.
Wynn said he wants to play defensive end in college. He said he plans to take official visits to Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida before he makes a decision.
"It's still wide open," Wynn said when asked if any school had an early lead.
