Florida's Jones, not UT's Jones, gets Marshall job
Florida assistant coach after Donnie Jones accepted the job at Marshall on Friday, a source close to the situation told The News Sentinel.
Jones, who was named Florida's associate head coach last year, was an assistant under Billy Donovan from 1994-96 there before following him to Florida.
Jones, who has coached alongside Bruce Pearl for two seasons at UT and four seasons at Wisconsin-Milwaukee, has been the primary recruiter on Pearl's staff.
