Cottam has surgery
Tennessee tight end Brad Cottam underwent successful surgery Wednesday
for a sports hernia, according to a Tennessee sports information office
release.

Head athletic trainer Jason McVeigh said Dr. William Meyers performed the surgery in Philadelphia. Cottam, who will be a senior this fall, should return to Knoxville today.
"I expect Brad to make a full recovery and return full-go for the fall," McVeigh said.
