Former Tennessee Lady Vol Violeta Retamoza shot 73-70 (210 total) in the second and third rounds on Sunday to finish second in the Gettysburg (Pa.) Classic Futures Tour tournament.
Retamoza, who led after the first round, finished three shots behind winner Vikki Laing. Former Lady Vol Jessica Shepley (75-76) finished at 224.
Former Lady Vol Jacqueline Yang (81) finished at 226 in the LPGA Tour’s Safeway Classic in Portland, Ore. Lorena Ochoa (204) won.
At the Nationwide Tour’s Pete Dye Classic in Bridgeport, W.Va., former Vol Andrew Pratt shot 72 to finish at 286, 13 shots behind winner Jimmy Walker.
At the Hooters Tour’s Dothan (Ala.) Classic, former Vol David Skinns shot 68 to finish in a tie for fourth.
