Tennessee's football team plans to host seven official visitors this weekend.
Tyrell Harris, a 6-foot, 185-pound athlete from Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg, Pa., is the surprise addition of the group, if he indeed makes it. There has been some question as to whether Harris will actually travel to Knoxville this weekend.
The Vols also are hosting Zach Brown, a 6-1, 210-pound linebacker from Hargrave Military Academy, Lerentee McCray, a 6-2, 200-pound linebacker from Dunnellon (Fla.) High School and Greg Scruggs, a 6-5, 230-poound defensive end from St. Xavier in Cincinnati.
All appear to still be open to all suitors, even though McCray is committed to Miami and Brown is committed to Maryland.
UT also is hosting three committed Vol prospects for their official visits: 6-3, 270-pound offensive lineman Carson Anderson from Florence (Ala.) High School, 6-5, 315-pound offensive lineman Preston Bailey from Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville and 6-5, 215-pound defensive end Steven Fowlkes from Banneker High School in College Park, Ga.
UT's plan is simple: mix some high-profile, undecided prospects with those who have pledged to be a Vol and hope the 2008 class grows.
