Jaimel Johnson can add All-America to her list of accomplishments as a goalkeeper at the University of Tennessee.
The junior was named a third-team All-America by the National Soccer Coaches Association/adidas on Tuesday.
The Dayton, Ohio, native posted 10 shutouts and a 0.88 goals-against average as the Lady Vols went 15-5-2 and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the fifth time.
Junior forward Kylee Rossi and senior forward Emily Redberg joined Johnson on the NSCAA/adidas All-Southeast Region team.
Johnson, who set a school record with 111 saves this past season, becomes the third All-America in soccer at UT.
She ranks third all-time with 21 career victories and 15 shutouts.
Her 0.95 career goals-against average ranks second all-time, behind only former Lady Vol Vanessa Phillips Bosshart (2002-2005).
Rossi has led the Lady Vols in scoring three consecutive seasons and finished 2007 with 12 goals and six assists.
She was named the SEC offensive player of the year for the second consecutive yeaand is UT’s all-time leading scorer.
Redberg had seven goals and four assists, putting her fifth in UT career goals with 26.

Congratulations to all three Lady Vols. You've had an excellent season and I am looking forward to seeing the team next year. Johnson had an outstanding year and next year should be even better. The future in soccer at UT is bright.
