UT releases DVD highlighting 2007 season

The University of Tennessee and Host Communications/Vol Network has released highlights from the 2007 football season. The DVD is available now at participating JCPenney stores across the state of Tennessee and online at volnetwork.tv.

Cost is $24.99

The DVD offers in-depth footage of each regular season contest plus the SEC championship game.

In addition to actual Vol Radio Network play-by-play and exclusive game action footage, the DVD offers nine features on the 2007 Vols from the “Phillip Fulmer Show,” glimpses inside the Big Orange locker room for pre-game pep talks and post-game celebrations. Additional bonus tracks include a season-long music montage, a tribute to the 2007 seniors and the Vols in the community.

Does anyone have a copy of the 2005 edition?

SmokeDog72 writes:

I think I saw the 2005 edition once. The credits lasted longer than the feature.

The 2005 Vol edition was longer than the DVD I found at the Gas n Sip titled: "Florida Football Heroes 1900-1990". I have taken wizzes that lasted longer than that one.

this is a joke... you mean vol fans want to see us get smoked by ca, fla and bama and ainge give the sec cg away........ we need to see if he had a side bet on that game or get his vision checked...

i think that video should be banned because it will put people into a state of depression.......

well, if its truly hi-lites, it will be mostly be of the Georgia game with a little Arkie mixed in. Four games, at least will be missing. Why not include the bowl game, even played in 2008, its supposed to be part of the 2007 season.

Probably won't include many tackles.

Ala, the championship from 1998, in 1999. A looooong timmmmme agggoooo. Do they hi-lite one top ten in nine years? Merry Christmas.

Who in the blue hell would want to see Cal, UF , and Bama games again ? This should sell well at VFW's in Tuscaloosa and G' Ville. Doubt there is a VFW in Berkley

Does the DVD include our center playing "cover three" in his appartment after a big win?

You mean for $25 I get to hear Kesling suck the excitement out of the game, watch 5 yard out patterns, and the Defense miss tackle after tackle while at the same time putting absolutely no pressure on the QB?

Personally I'm waiting for the Decade DVD like the did for the 90's. It was called the Decade of Dominance. The one for this Decade should be called, "The Decade of the Decline".

And 12Times, I'm assuming you're a Bama fan, but the score was 41-17 instead of 42-17. Rule 1 of trash talking about others not being able to read is make sure you can read yourself before posting.

Maybe they will make a highlight film of Bama's November football season. Just as good, if not better, as our DVD that is released I hear.

12TIMES = how many times the average Bama fan said, "I think I'm gonna be sick" during the UL Monroe game.

12TIMES = how many times that 12TIMES got turned down for a prom date before giving up and taking his sister.

12TIMES = how many times he brushed his tooth in 2007.

pdhuff#552644 writes:

ah, let old 12TIMES alone. As soon as they find him, he'll have to go back to the home. Dang, boy couldn't you get the score right once out of twelve times? Reminds one of some of those good Dawg fans that used to work for me in Ga. Some of 'em even learned to give 3 woofs instead of two. There's always hope for most people.

I have a DVD titled, "Tennessee Football Classics: TN vs. Notre Dame", which includes two complete games between TN and ND.

What I would like to see released is a similar DVD containing complete games of TN vs. FL or TN vs. AL. The multiple overtime game with AL comes to mind, as does the TN victory over FL back when the artificial turf was still down and it came a flood at Neyland Stadium. I'd buy several of those for myself and family members.

Are there restrictions on releasing games like these on DVD? If not, you'd think they would be top sellers.

A DVD of the 2003 Bama-UT game would need to only include from about half way thru the 4th Quarter on since it was an absolute snooze fest up until then.

One of Fulmer's more classic coaching jobs. Have a superior team athletically, have them flat as a pancake going into a huge rivalry game, then luck up and win somehow, then proclaim everything is fine.

I've already got the Ga game on tape -- did I miss another highlight?
