The Dane Bradshaw Athletic Scholarship Endowment will be awarded to the male or female student-athlete at UT who best epitomizes the commitment to academic achievement, athletic excellence, hard work, team leadership and personal faith exhibited by Bradshaw in his four-year career.
"Dane embodies everything that is good about intercollegiate athletics, said Pearl. "He has helped bring credibility back to Tennessee basketball, both on and off the court.
The UT Athletic Endowment has grown to $30 million, the university said in a release. Fans can endow a named scholarship with a minimum gift of $50,000.
Nine members of this years squad receive portions of 13 named endowed scholarships.
