The 6-foot-1, 202-pound Creer will reveal his choice Thursday at 11 a.m. EST during a press conference at the school.
Evans added that Darnius Moore, a 6-0, 175-pound athlete, will also announce his choice although its not a secret.
Moore told the News Sentinel on Christmas night that he was committed to UT but has varied his story to other media outlets since.
Evans said Creer left Tuesday morning to take an official visit to Alabama. He visited UT in September and Oklahoma in October.
Creer hasnt returned phone calls from various media outlets for weeks. Hes given the same treatment to Evans, who has been irked by the way Creer has handled the recruiting process.
"Its been a very difficult week around here," Evans said. "I really need to know because Im the one fielding all these calls."
