Three former UT players sign contracts for 2007

Three former University of Tennessee players have signed NFL contracts in hopes of playing in 2007.

The Denver Broncos signed fullback Troy Fleming as a "futures" free agent earlier this month.

Fleming was a sixth-round pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2004 and was one of the fastest running backs timed at the 2004 scouting combine. He did not play in 2006 after being cut in training camp by the Titans.

Seattle signed defensive tackle Lynn McGruder to a future contract. McGruder was dismissed from UT and finished his college career at Oklahoma. He has been on NFL rosters with Detroit, Washington and Tampa Bay.

Carolina signed defensive end Jason Hall, who went to camp with Buffalo a year ago. Hall has been assigned by the Panthers to NFL Europe. Teams are limited to five allocations this year.

Marshall, Myslinki Join Browns: The Cleveland Browns added two assistant coaches hiring Steve Marshall as offensive line coach and Tom Myslinski as strength and conditioning coach.

Marshall was offensive line coach for the Houston Texans from 2004-05. He was offensive line coach at UT from 1993-95 and was named to Nick Saban's staff at Alabama earlier this month.

Myslinski spent three seasons with the Browns as a part-time assistant strength coach and assistant strength and conditioning coach from 2002-04. The former offensive lineman played at UT from 1988-1991 and played 11 years in the NFL.
