47 from UT on SEC freshman academic honor roll

A total of 47 Tennessee Vols and Lady Vols were named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll in a release Wednesday by Commissioner Mike Slive.

Each student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, be on scholarship or a letter-winner, have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit, and have been a member of the varsity team for the sport’s entire NCAA championship segment. The 2007 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2006-07 academic calendar.

We only had 2 freshman on the Women's Team (Cait Mahan and Nicci Moats). This is a freshman only group. I am not sure how much Nicci was even in school since she was leaving.
