Individual game tickets for four Tennessee home football games and two away contests are available for purchase beginning Monday. Fans can make these purchases online at UTsports.com, via phone at (800) 332-VOLS or at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The available games are home dates with Southern Mississippi (Sept. 8), Arkansas State (Sept. 22), Louisiana-Lafayette (Nov. 3) and Vanderbilt (Nov. 17), and away contests against Mississippi State (Oct. 13) and Kentucky (Nov. 24). Tickets are $30 each for Kentucky, $40 each for Louisiana-Lafayette, Arkansas State, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State, and $50 each for Southern Mississippi, plus shipping and handling.
"Every year we receive tickets back from some of our visiting opponent allotments," said Mike Hamilton, men's athletic director. “We hope that by making these tickets available to our fans in the summer, they will have more opportunities to make their football plans.”
The athletics department also is placing a very limited number of single-seat, non-renewable season tickets on sale for the 2007 season. These tickets will be sold for $296 and only will be available for purchase at the Thompson-Boling Arena ticket office.
Beginning July 20 through Aug. 18, UT Athletics will have a booth in West Town Mall by the duck pond set up to educate fans about getting tickets to Tennessee's various sporting events.
"Tennessee has a great fan base, but unfortunately many fans are not aware of how to get tickets to the various sporting events on campus," said John Currie, senior associate athletics director for external operations. “We believe this will be an opportunity for fans to find out how to get season tickets for all of our sports.”

I bought a season ticket to the Cal Bears ($160) just so I could buy tix to the Vols game. It was worth 8 in row in the reserved section. I'll have to put up with cal fans, but that's ok. They were all pretty good folks at last year's game.

Did TN ever sell any tickets to the public for the Cal game? I live out here in LA and waited for them to go on sale all year. Fortunatley, I went on the Cal web site last sunday and got 7 tickets for $44 each. Apparently Cal has a general admision section in their stadium. How odd! I cant wait to wear my orange on Berkley campus. I agree that the Cal fans will be nice enough, its the dang USC fans out here that I cant stand.
