Former Tennessee Vol Mike DiFelice hit a pair of two-run homers and drove in six runs for Class AAA New Orleans in a 14-4 Pacifice Coast League victory over Albuquerque on Sunday.
The veteran catcher was 4-for-4, hitting his first home run with two outs in the third inning and his second in the sixth. DiFelice capped his season-high six-RBI performance with a two-run double in a seven-run seventh. He missed hitting for the cycle by a triple.
In his last 10 games, DiFelice is hitting .448 (13-for-29) with nine runs scored, four doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs. For the season, DiFelice is hitting .288 with nine doubles, seven home runs and 35 RBIs in 69 games.
