As expected, New Mexico State has been selected as the fourth host team for the Legends Classic basketball tournament, which also includes Tennessee among its host schools.
The eight-team tournament is set up with four teams hosting first-games Nov. 14-18, and the four winning teams advancing to play in the Prudential Center in Neward, N.J., on Nov. 23-24.
Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia were previously named as host schools, and speculation was that New Mexico State would fill the fourth spot. That addition has been announced on both the New Mexico State and the Legends Classic websites.

Will anyone from the KNS be making the trip with the team in August to keep us updated on how things are going? I know it will be the start of football practice but a daily up date on the basketball trip would be great.

Nice to be hosting. That's the kind of thing you get with BP running the program (sorry Hammy, but we both know who is "running" the men's basketball program).
Waiting patiently here for the KNS writers to find a negative spin on this or tell us how BP is just "lucky" to get it...
