Tennessee junior Rubin Williams finished third in the 200 meters on Friday to earn a bronze medal at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Williams finished in 20.57 seconds. The 12-time All-America recorded the third-fastest time in the first round on Wednesday in 20.72 before earning the fourth-fastest time of 20.66 in the semifinals.
Williams also ran the third leg on Team USA’s 4x100 relay team which qualified for today’s final after recording the third-fastest time (38.93) of the semifinals on Friday.
