The Tennessee men’s basketball schedule for the 2007-08 season hasn’t been released, but you can mark down the two games against Kentucky.
The Vols will travel to Lexington on Jan. 22 for a 9 p.m. tipoff that will be televised by ESPN.
Kentucky plays at Tennessee on March 2. Game time is noon and will be televised by CBS.
UT will open the SEC season at home against Ole Miss on Jan. 9. Included in UT’s non-conference schedule is a trip to Seattle to play Gonzaga on Dec. 29.
The Vols play at Memphis on Feb. 23 at FedEx Forum, Western Kentucky on Dec. 15 at the Sommet Center in Nashville, a road game at Xavier and a home game against Ohio State.
There’s also a trip to Chattanooga on Dec. 4.
UT is one of four schools to host first-round games in the Legends Classic along with Texas, New Mexico State and West Virginia in the eight-team event.
First-round games will be played Nov. 14-18 with the four winners playing at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on Nov. 23-24.
Possible opponents for the Vols in the first two round games include Florida Atlantic, Northern Arizona and Texas-Pan American.

I love it! Some Coaches wouldn't have the guts to sechdule such a tough non-conference when they all ready play in one of the toughest conferences. But, that is how you will get McDonald's All Americans to start to come to TN. Go VOLS!
