The UT athletics department has announced plans for an SEC Championship Game sendoff for the Tennessee football team Friday.
Orange Nation, a student pep organization, is organizing the event. Students and fans of all ages are invited to attend and show their support as the Vols depart for Atlanta and the SEC title game against LSU.
When: Friday from noon to 12:45 p.m.
Where: Johnny Majors Drive (between Stokely Athletics Center and the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center)
TENNESSEE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION -- SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME EVENTS
The SEC FanFare is the place to be Saturday for food, fun and Rocky Top! Each SEC Championship Game ticket includes admission to the SEC FanFare at the Georgia World Congress Center. All the normal fun associated with the “Big Orange Tailgate Tour” will be available. Admission to the SEC FanFare is $8 without the admission ticket available in the game ticket package.
FanFare will be held from 1-9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
The UT Alumni Association’s normal pregame event, the “Big Orange Tailgate Tour,” is not being held so all alumni and fans can enjoy the SEC FanFare.
The time for all Vol alumni and fans to pack the GWCC is 1:30 p.m. Saturday, when the UT Pride of the Southland Band, cheerleaders and Smokey take center stage for a Big Orange pep rally! The FanFare will have food and drinks available for purchase along with games for all ages to enjoy.

TDTN-look, not too many of us are happy about the extention. I'm not that upset about the raise. Looks like Phill is the man for the next few years regardless. I'm not happy but, somehow this team is going to Atl. LSU doesn't seem as good as they were early in the season and we don't seem to be as bad as the ass kicking we took from the Gators.
We had a few bad plays against Cal that cost us the game but we were in it most of the way.
Yes Bama and UF were night mares but FL f'd up and lost to UGA and we didn't. So like him or not-you'd better man up and enjoy this saturday...you might not see many more! At least I'll be there!

we were that Their kicker missed a last second kick. We missed a field goal AND a P.A.T. so Vandy was lucky they had a shot to win it at all. I have had to remind UGA fans all week that they too had to have Vandy miss a last minute kick so they could stomp on the mid-field logo.

Urban constantly runs up the score to feed his pathetic excuse for an ego.
