LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin will have surgery Monday to remove bone spurs and calcium deposits around his right hip.
Coach Rick Brooks said Friday he’s not sure how long Lumpkin will be out.
Lumpkin had surgery on the same hip before joining the Wildcats and missed six games last season. He finished the year with 18 tackles, including a sack, in seven games.
