LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon has returned to spring practice for the Wildcats after undergoing successful arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
Jarmon said he felt pretty good rejoining his teammates, who are halfway through spring drills. Jarmon led the Wildcats with nine sacks and 13.5 tackles for a loss last year.
Jarmon has stayed busy off the field while recovering. He is the lead role in a UK Theatre production of "Weak/Side/Help," which focuses on performance-enhancing drugs and race in sports.
Coach Rich Brooks added that he's happy with the progress of the offensive line. He called it the best competition he's had among players on the line since he's been with the Wildcats.
The team's spring game is scheduled for April 19.
