Daughter of former Vol Reviez critically injured in wreck

The daughter of a former University of Tennessee football player remains in critical condition after a wreck Thursday morning.

Bryanna Reveiz, a 17-year-old student at Farragut High School, was driving east on Boyd Station Road around 9:10 a.m. when she apparently lost control of her 2003 Land Rover, Knox County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Martha Dooley said.

The vehicle hit a tree, and the airbag deployed, Dooley said. Reveiz was airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

She was wearing a seat belt.

Reveiz is the daughter of Fuad Reviez, a former Vol and professional football player.

Authorities are investigating the crash.

I hope she's okay.

One trivial and meaningless question, why would she be driving around at 9:10am when school starts at 8:30am? Am I missing something in the story?

Again, I hope she's going to be okay.

Fred - how tacky. Maybe she was sick and headed to a doctor visit. Maybe she has braces and was going to the ortho. Maybe she was cutting class. Either way - how is that your business?

Get well soon Bryanna!

My favorite (non-Vol) Reveiz moment came, I believe, on MNF. I think he was still will the Dolphins and he'd just missed a FG. A hulking lineman from the other team ran Fuad down and said something to him. Reveiz responded by punching the guy that looked a foot taller and 100# heavier. When asked what the player said to elicit such a response, Reveiz was quote in the paper as saying, "He questioned my ancestry."

Hoping everything works out for your family, Fuad.

Thanks Daddy. Good to hear. Fuad was a pretty good linebacker in HS and as such, took no @#$% like some less combative kickers. My favorite memory about Fuad is that George Cafego who coached Tennessee kickers for years, couldn't say, or remember Fuad's name so he just called him "Fred."
That said, will remember the young lady in this family's prayers.
