VOLSCARS winners announced

The University of Tennessee Athletics Department held the second annual VOLSCARS on Monday night at the Knoxville Convention Center.

The concept for the VOLSCARS was developed by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as a way to showcase and celebrate the accomplishments of both the men’s and women’s athletic departments. The event was a sports award show modeled after the ESPYs. Tennessee student-athletes began the evening on the “orange” carpet with media interviews in true Hollywood style, followed by a dinner and awards show.

55Vol, Who cares- she coaches girls basketball?

BigOrangeHustler writes:

Exactly- she shouldn't. Every boy's high school team in Tennesssee could beat them.

Interesting that the football team with the most players on a team per sport had the least amount of awards. Still can't believe that the coach of the "team of destiny" didn't win an award....LOL!!!!!
