Tennessee’s Tonya Callahan made it a clean sweep of national and conference weekly awards by being named winner of the USA Softball National Collegiate Player of the Week honor Wednesday.
Callahan batted .667 against Ole Miss and LSU last week with three home runs and seven RBIs. She reached base safely on 16 of 18 at bats for the week.
She leads the SEC in batting average (.466), slugging percentage (.924), on-base percentage (.622), total bases (121) and home runs (16).
