Best of luck to Chris. Despite hugh numbers, I though he came through when his number was called. Best of all, I thought he conducted himself well as a player at UT. For these things, I wish nothing but the best for Mr. Brown.

Chris was great and I don't know why we didn't seem to utilize him more in the second half of the season. I thought he had that "Shawn Bryson x-factor" that was unexpected but needed.

Give it your best, Chris. Like others, it seemed he was under-used.

At least he's got a shot. Congrats.

How many did the Vols have in the 1st 7 rounds? Haven't seen anything on it.

nicks, we were too busy sitting on those leads in the second half, remember....lol.

Hang in there Chris, sometimes you have to work your way into a spot on the team.

Nick: One possible explanation of why Chris wasn't used more...CPF didn't realize he wasn't in game. (see M. Hardesty)

Chris Brown...awesome! Congratulations and good luck!

I think Chris could be a good fit with the Jags. I think the comparison to Bryson is quite apt. He could have a nice, productive, comparatively long career in the NFL without becoming a "star". We didn't get as much out of him here as I think we could and should have.

Don't get to watch the Jaguars much here in Texas. Do they use an H'back? Best wishes to Chris Brown in his NFL career. Go Vols! SAVol

Good luck, Chris. Keep working hard like you did here at UT and you'll have a chance. You could be Jacksonville's version of Dallas Clark, and he seems to be doing OK.

Very happy for you.

Don't get me wrong when I say this, but I thought brown did a better job at tight end for UT then cottam. I am glad cottam drafted as high as he did, but criss should have went in the 5th or 6th round. He didn't have the tools brad had but he made up for it with heart! Good luck in the pro's chriss.
