really isn't a fair question when you have a guy go #10 overall and the other two in the 3rd and 5th round... way to keep things interesting KNS

Dang Adams, worked all day on this one did ya? Better take Monday off, rest up you typin' arm, don't want you to peak too early in the week.

Erik better hope Testaverde doesn't come out of retirement again.

When will you folks ever lighten up on Ainge? He had an outstanding career at UT and now you keep banging on him after he was drafted. You should be happy when a UT player does well and wish him success in the NFL. He is no Peyton, but he is all orange and he put up some great numbers at UT. I am sure many of the posters on this list who call themselves UT fans are dying to see him fail. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I wish them all good luck and produtive careers, in whatever field they settle into. As far as bashing Ainge, he was a very proiductive QB that put up very respectable numbers in pretty much, only 2 and a half seasons, not his fault, the talent pool was not what it has been in the past, or maybe there was talent, just not developed, but he had very good numbers and I think he will do fine in NY, Good luck Erik, Brad, Jared, and all VOLS that get a shot, I'm proud of you, and Thank You, for your time in ORANGE.

WD40plusVol, good post at 9:31 about Testaverde. I don't know that there is a player in the history of the NFL who has parlayed marginal talent into a longer career (excluding punters and kickers).

Mayo is obviously in the best situation with the Pats from a coaching and team standpoint. I think he'll be the first of the three to see significant playing time and have the most impact. Ainge won't start barring injuries for a year or two and Cottam has to prove he can stay healthy and make it through training camp first. I also think it will be easier for Mayo to pick up the defense than it will be for the other guys to learn the offense.

Touche bowerst & WD40. I think Unitas & Priest Holmes were free agents. You just never know.

BTW Kentucky had 4 draftees. The AP photo had Tamme buckling his chin strap in the Music City Bowl. It would have been nice to see him performing the same task after Mayo's hit in Lexington.

Brama is the idiot.
If only he could have been with the Jets and the Chiefs, he could have saved them some time and money.

I voted for Mayo and I think he will have the biggest immediate impact. Cottam is a talent but has to prove he can stay away from injury.

Ainge's situation in NY is such he won't have to play right away. He can learn and develop. In the long run he may prove to be the best of the lot especially if his body fills out a little.

There have been a lot of QB's who sat awhile then emerged and became stars because they did not get beat up behind poor offensive lines and had their game ready when their number was called.
