South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier wasn't biting on a barb tossed his way from new Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin.
Shortly after Kiffin was introduced as UT's coach on Dec. 1, Spurrier questioned whether Kiffin had taken the NCAA's recruiting test before contacting prospects.
Asked about Spurrier's quip Saturday, Kiffin said he scored a 39 out of 40 on his test and questioned how Spurrier fared on his test.
"I have always passed it," Spurrier told reporters Sunday. "I know he's smarter than me. There's no question about that. I barely graduated from college. I know I'm not the smartest guy out there. No big deal."
