Come on boys! If we can gel, we can be crazy good. If not, we are just an average team. It's asking a lot of these freshmen, but if anyone can gets these guys' heads on straight...Pearl can.

Wow memphis is not so hot this year are they? What happened to them? And where are the fans that was talking all that trash about memphis being better than UT? Funny how they shut up now.

GreerVol22 writes:

Big campus, more girls than ever, and a coach that sweats a lot might be the cause of a few of our freshman issues...

Don't worry. The Memphismistake Tigerhigh bandwagon jumpers are all just laying in the weeds waiting for us to lose a couple of more games against quality teams. While they continue to play H.S. teams, which they should dominate...then they will all be back. However, isn't peaceful without them? They possibly could be hiding because they pulled out of the preseason tournament we were in because, and I quote their chicken coach..."I don't want to have to play them twice and one of the games not be at home". He was talikng about UT and Gonzaga...I guess they don't mind losing as long as it is at home....

#14 - 'bout right.

Games tonight: Tenn vs Lousiana Lafayette. Cupcake train continuses to roll on.

Memphis vs Cincinnati. Once again Memphis plays a quality opponent.

If you keep playing cupcakes you may make it to number 1 sooner or later. Oh but you have to deal with that grueling SEC schedule. SEC has how many in the top 25? Is it 5 or 6 teams? No wait, it's only 1.
Memphis has played Georgetown, Syracuse, and Cincy lately while the vols have been munching on cupcakes.

overatedvols writes:

Appears the Lousiana Laf. team is talking trash. The following quotes are from the Lousiana Lafayette Times.

Guard Tyrone Jones says "The only games they won were against nothin teams. When they play a good team they lose"

Center Jerome Johnson says "They ain't about nothin"

Forward Andre Jones says "Everybody knows there is only one good team in the state of Tenn. and it's over on the west side"

Coach Robert Cajun says "I just hope they don't overlook this Tenn. team. They've got a tendency to look past teams like Tenn. in anticipation of the better teams and bigger names on the schedule"

Hope we continue to move on up. We have to win and we can....
Go Vols!

Over and bitesme my favorite tiger fans. You always get a laugh with those boys. tigers better not slip tonight or they are a #9 seed.

Irwin_Linker writes:

Memphis fans are hilarious...Don't respond to any of them, no matter how hard it may be. They know we are better, they also know we have a harder schedule. Cincinatti blows and whats really funny is that they will beat the tiger at home. I will be at the game wearing orange and cheering for the beatcats. Memphis NIT champions 09.
