Auburn's Marks to enter draft

AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn defensive lineman Sen’Derrick Marks says he will skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft.

Marks, a Mobile native who announced his decision Tuesday, was a second-team All-Southeastern Conference pick by coaches this season after making 32 tackles, including 10 for loss.

The 6-foot-1, 294-pound Marks also recorded 7.5 sacks over three seasons.

He said his experience at Auburn has been great but he feels he is ready to advance to the next level.

As a junior this season, Marks was a key part of an Auburn defense that finished No. 15 nationally in scoring defense and No. 27 in total defense.

At least we have a few players good enough to declare early for the draft. Wish him well.

I'm here quite a bit actually. Is fun to read the ravings of the delusional and see the rest of you try to talk sense into them.

I was stunned about Chiz at first, but I will give him credit. He is working his tail off recruiting and his first two hires are great, so he's winning over the faithful. Of course nothing will do that better than winning

This is good news for vol fans. This is big when you can take a big D-Lineman out of the game. Auburn may be a little thin when they visit Knoxville next year.

Grown up Piggly Wiggley?
There really is a Hoggly Woggly in a little town northeast of Panama City on the river close to the Bamma line. I wish I could remember the town, but it's been over 17 years since I went through there. (just some more useless info for you all)

Go VOLS!!!

no doubt Marks will be missed, but I wouldn't take my happy pills about Auburn being thin just yet.
