Tennessee's Alberta Auguste suffered a left shoulder injury during the Lady Vols' team workout Friday.
Jenny Moshak, the Lady Vols assistant athletic director for sports medicine, didn't think Auguste suffered a dislocation of the joint when the senior guard was hit while reaching forward for the basketball. Still, Auguste's shoulder was sore, and she left Pratt Pavilion wearing a sling. She will receive treatment and her status is uncertain for Sunday's SEC game against Kentucky at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The Lady Vols are off Saturday.

Oh no, it was not me who mentioned that injury bug, was it? Oh yes, it was. See, things can be just fine and dandy when you go off to work, and then you get home and log on to bad news. Injuries in February are just inevitable. We must toughen up. Hope Bird is not seriously grounded.

UF, do you need a hug? You seem to be seeking some attention. Here's you a big orange & white hug. Now did that feel good? I bet that big teddy bear, gino would give you a hug too. Why don't you chat with him about bball? He is, in your mind, so much more knowledgeable on everything. Here's some facts for you to take along. Lady Vols are The Defending National Champions, currently hang 7 NC banners in their arena, have the winningest, classiest basketball coach in the country. Classiest, meaning would never, ever shout profanities at her players or officials, would never, ever break a recruiting rule, would rather forfeit revenue and popularity than engage in "say- what-I-want-to-hear" rhetoric with those eastern media types. Lady Vols, after all, put UConn on the map. The bball world recognized Tennessee women's bball long before your beloved geno could mumble a four-letter word. When we agreed to let you play with us, then , and only then did the world know you owned a basketball. Now, when you catch up to the greatness of Tennessee Women's basketball and Pat Summitt, come on back and post it.

You are right, UF, about some things. You have done your homework. I took your advice. I looked it up. Geno does look pretty in a skirt. However, orange does not, will never become him. He might look even more attractive in some orange paint. Don't you think? Too bad for you he will never be in ours.

UF, did you learn how to spell at UCONN "All we here from Pat Summitt?" When UCONN loses the National Championship to TN, I invite you to enroll at mighty UT and experience the wonders of reading and writing.

UConnFan, glad that you all are playing yet another dominant team in your own conference tonight. That should be a real Big East nailbiter.
