Kentucky is keeping its three-game winning streak in perspective.
The Wildcats aren't ranked and they don't even make the RPI's top 125, so there's no need to talk about their hopes for postseason play in March. But at least they can call themselves winners again.
Joe Crawford scored 26 points, including a 3-pointer to start a 10-0 run to open the second half, and Kentucky overcame the loss of Ramel Bradley to beat Georgia 63-58 on Saturday in Athens, Ga.
Freshman Patrick Patterson added 16 points as Kentucky (10-9, 5-2) moved over .500 for the first time since December.
What does three straight SEC wins, including handing Georgia (11-8, 2-4) its first home loss of the season, mean for Kentucky?
"I think it just shows that we're continuing to improve," Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie said.
For a team which began the day with a Ratings Percentage Index of only 135, there's still a long way to go.
Kentucky lost Bradley with 8:44 left in the first half when the senior, attempting a fast-break layup, was knocked to the court from behind by Georgia's Dave Bliss. Bradley landed hard and appeared groggy when he left the court.
Bradley, who joined warmups for the start of the second half before he was sent back to the lockerroom, suffered a Grade 2 concussion and a cut on his chin, according to Gillispie.
Gillispie said he didn't know Bradley's status for Wednesday's game at Auburn.
Vanderbilt 78, Auburn 71: A.J. Ogilvy scored 19 points to help the No. 19 Commodores snap a two-game losing streak.
Vanderbilt (18-3, 3-4 SEC) led by 14 points in the first half, but Auburn charged back in the second, chopping the deficit to 63-62 with 6:35 remaining on two free throws by Frank Tolbert.
Jermaine Beal answered for the Commodores, scoring seven straight points, including two baskets off steals. Ogilvy also scored inside, keeping Vanderbilt ahead 72-62 with 4:20 to go.
Tolbert, who scored a career-high 32 points, hit a 3-pointer with 2:16 left to make it 72-66, but the visiting Tigers (12-8, 2-5) got no closer.
Alabama 81, LSU 72: Richard Hendrix had 19 points and 17 rebounds and the Crimson Tide (13-9, 2-5 SEC) held off several rally attempts to beat the visiting Tigers (8-13, 1-6) in a battle to stay out of the SEC West cellar.
This time the SEC's worst free throw shooting team made four in a row from the line in the final 16 seconds, along with two last-minute dunks. Alabama was the one making the big plays at the end after faltering several times late in losing five of its last six games.
South Carolina 80, Mississippi 77: Dominique Archie scored 20 points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 5.9 seconds left, as the visiting Gamecocks upset the No. 24 Rebels in Oxford.
Devan Downey led the Gamecocks (11-10, 2-5 SEC) with 25 points, and capped the win with a pair of technical foul free throws with 1.1 seconds left.
Dwayne Curtis had 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Rebels (16-4, 3-4), becoming the 30th player to score more than 1,000 career points at Mississippi.

Boy, that Carolina upset was a shocker! At Oxford, too! They looked so tough when, and before, they played us. I guess that loss just took all their heart away.
