Despite trailing late in a match for the second time this weekend, the No. 21 Tennessee women's tennis team was able to post its first road victory of the season with a come-from-behind, 4-3, win over No. 27 Indiana (6-2) in Bloomington, Ind.
The Lady Vols (5-2) finished out three-set wins at the first and fifth singles positions to complete the victory and snap a two-match skid.
Two days after dropping the doubles point for the first time this year, the Lady Vols got back on track Sunday, claiming the initial point with victories from Ghizela Schutte/Rosalia Alda and Caitlin Whoriskey/Jennifer Meredith.
Singles winners were Whoriskey, Schutte and Alda.
The Lady Vols continue their season-long six-match road swing at Charlottesville, Va., on Feb. 24 against No. 53 Virginia.
