Power-hitting third baseman Tonya Callahan made the SEC preseason first team, the SEC office announced today.
Callahan is hitting .429 this season with a team-leading 13 RBI to help the Lady Vols start off 9-1. She is on the watch list for the USA Softball National Player of the Year award.
Catcher Shannon Doepking and catcher/first baseman Tiffany Huff were second-team selections.
