Lavunce Askew’s official visit to Arkansas was exactly what Tennessee's coaches hoped it wouldn’t be.
“It was great,” the 6-3, 280-pound defensive tackle from Fairview High School in Camden, Ark., said. “It was so great. I can’t complain. I liked it a lot.”
The Vols were already trying to make up some serious ground on Askew, who committed to Arkansas last July. Askew said he called UT recruiter Steve Caldwell to inform him of his reaffirmation to Arkansas.
“I’m a Hog,” Askew said, recalling the theme of the conversation.

I wouldn't trust Bobby Petrino as far as I could throw him. He quit and walked out on his Atlanta Falcons team.

good luck young man. For your sake I hope Petrino
can back up whatever he promised you. Apparently his players say otherwise and that includes Louisville!!

tngeoff -5:24- You never say the king has no clothes! You may need a weekend at kool-aid camp. Or watch the movie Dune and seek the spice. You should be ok eventually. Check your charts.

Askew,
You need to reconsider your commitment to the hogs before its too late and you regret it later. UT is on its way up. They proved it by going to the SEC champianship this year and almost winning against the team that ended up national champians. Arkansas, lost their heisman candidate and when was the last time they won their western conferance? Too long for me to remember. Big mustake dude!

hey paulvol,i think you are having a memory lapse.were you asleep during last years sec season? i guess you don't remember that THE Arkansas Razorbacks did win the SEC west championship last year and lost in the SEC championship game. and yeah we're losing our Heisman candidate but it will be good to see him in the NFL on Sundays. Oh yeah--didn't we also get a quarterback from Michigan who was thought to be committed to the Vols? Keep routing for your team and I'll route for mine. May God Bless you and all of us daily.
