We got a great draw. I hope we take advantage of it... NFL Detroit game at 11am, Vols at Noon, Thanksgiving dinner at 2pm, NFL Dallas game at 3pm... that'll be a good day.

b_neas writes:

Never bad to have a team that makes the NCAA tourney regularly on your schedule. Just like playing Western KY the last few years. Hopefully wins but regardless they look pretty good come selection Sunday.

Silent_Fulmer writes:

WOW!!!!

We get to punch Georgetown in the face! I can't wait.

WorkinLikeHeck writes:

Football season will be long over (by being eliminated from the SEC title race and therefore not winning an SEC title for 10 straight years) so at least we can follow basketball where we can win SEC titles.

I have a place in Cocoa and am going to be down there anyway. Looks like a case of luck for me.

BigMix writes:

John Adams aka.workinlikeheck aka.Silent_Fulmer, I bet your mom hates you.

BigMix writes:

IBleedOrange444, Coach Fulmer is to blame for your post being removed. Lets get some pitch forks, head over to Shoney's and wait on him to pull up.

IBleedOrange444 writes:

Let's do it BigMix. Who does he think he is?!?

WorkinLikeHeck writes:

Jerry Green has a more recent SEC title than Foolmore.

Workin--i saved this ad for you because you are definitely qualified to be some villages idiot.

Your parents have a title for raising a complete da. Why don't you brag about that, wlh?

KosmoKramer, 4:18: You're right. Excellent piece.

chad_t31 writes:

Which SEC title would that be, workin?

WorkinLikeHeck writes:

The one they one in 2000.

WorkinLikeHeck writes:

should be "won" in 2000...oops

jimr07 writes:

workin--the village in argentina was concerned that your 37 I.Q. was too high. But i assured them that you could make a fool of yourself every day.

with kind personal regards.

LOL at jimr..."with kind personal regards"

I see you are so unorininal that you are copying mcbrim. It's okay jimr that you don't even have your undergrad degree.

Kosmo Great Article. I wish every Tennessee fan on this site would read that one. We are always looking for that next Manning or Little and never realize that they might just be right under our nose. We as fans should do nothing but rally behind this whole team a coaching staff. I for one get tired of hearing all the bashing of coaches and players. This is our team Tennessee fans. I am looking foward to watching history be wrote this year. In more ways than one.

Little? Ummmm...

I just dropped in on this basketball thread and found that workin is over here spinning it into a bash Fulmer and other posters thread. Cool, what else is new?

WorkinLikeHeck writes:

What other posters have I bashed?

jimr07 writes:

workin--you have no idea whether i have a degree or not. you know nothing about me. what does my having a degree or not have to do with your stupidity?

ibleed--you have been on here long enough that this jerk, workin, is going to bash cpf any way he can. it is truly amazing how he can bash him in a basketball article, swimming, track you name it. the man is possessed with his venom toward cpf

jimr07 writes:

and, workiin, i was not trying to be original. that is one thing i learned from you. no originality

volwalk writes:

John Adams.aka workin like heck, silent_fulmer..I bet your mom hates you.

Now that is funny.

Jerkinlikeheck are you really the idiot that you appear to be on your post?

What is this article about???

DandyVol writes:

The Vol: What made you pick Michigan State over the other three schools in their group. I know all four schools have pretty good bb teams, but I don't know the strengths of each team. If you read this, can you elaborate?

WorkinLikeHeck writes:

jimr = no degree. It's okay, you can always go back to school.

overatedvols writes:

Sienna, Georgetown and Michigan St. Sounds familiar. Memphis beat all 3 of those teams last season. Shouldn't be a prob for the Vols since Memphis only played easy nobody teams last year.
Those 3 must be easy. I'm sure you'll come out undefeated.

WorkinLikeHeck writes:

overated...yawn....you played Siena and Gtown at home and MSU on a neutral court because you had to in the NCAA tourney.

Home games (not against Tennessee though in Memphis' case) = easy. See Tennessee's homecourt record the last 2 years (It's 32-0).

overatedvols writes:

Workin..come Jan. 24 make that last number a 1
3x - 1.

"played MSU on a neutral court because you had to in the NCAA tourney."

You guys can come up with some interesting lines to try and discredit Memphis's success.

WorkinLikeHeck writes:

Kind of the same thing you do to discredit Tennessee's success...also this wait until when we play each other business is beyond tired. We beat you guys the last 2 years after we "waited until X date".

Memphis has a good/great program right now. I'll discuss in a civilized matter if you want.

ok, i'll give you that one. I was thinking outright championships.

GMoney_volz writes:

Why do the uneducated Tiger High fans have to come here to talk trash? Don't they have their own website? Oh wait... I know... because nobody outside of Shelby County gives a **** about Tiger High sports.

mike#208050 writes:

Wow, you may actual get to play a quality team or teams in this tournament. That would be a change of pace from the steady diet of slugs you play in December.(UNC Ashville, UTC, UTM, Indianapolis, Tusculum, MTSU and Louisana Lafy, another directional school)

Sienna is horrible, I don't care what anybody says. Memphis beat them by 44 pts last year. Sad Vandy couldn't do anything with them. Guess beating the mighty #1 Vols took all the fight out of them.

Hibbert is gone at Georgetown but they are always competitive. Better be ready to go to war when you play the Hoyas.

GMoney_volz.. Who is UT always comparing themselves to in basketball? Why is CBP working so hard recruiting in Memphis? Just maybe Memphis is more important than your hillbilly mentality can handle.

Workinlikeheck... a 32-0 home court record over the last two seasons is impressive I guess. Memphis had a run of 60+ games until last year. Good teams should win the home games. Tell me, outside of Florida, just who did UT beat at home the last two years that had a great ballclub? Only a flat Memphis team is all I can recall. Help me out here, any Big East or ACC schools? And don't give me a list of SEC conference games because none of them outside of Florida were worth dog poop in March. Opps, I forgot Texas, have to give you that one.
