Individual tickets for four Tennessee home football games – UAB (Sept. 13), Northern Illinois (Oct. 4), Wyoming (Nov. 8) and Kentucky (Nov. 29) – will be available for purchase online at UTSports.com beginning Monday.
Tickets for Northern Illinois and Wyoming are $40 each plus shipping and handling. Tickets for UAB and Kentucky are $50 each plus shipping and handling.
“Every year we receive tickets back from some of our visiting opponent allotments,” said UT athletic director Mike Hamilton in a press release Friday. “We hope that by making these tickets available in the summer, our fans will have more opportunities to make their football plans.”
The athletics department does not expect any visitor returns from Florida, Mississippi State or Alabama. But should those become available, any remaining single tickets can be purchased either online, via phone at 800-332-VOLS and at the Thompson-Boling Arena ticket office beginning July 21.

GreerVol22, They should also throw in a Friday afternoon tour with Dupree and brats and beverages courtesy of TDTN in the evening.
Have Gen Fritter speak on the status of Vol football early Sat morn......

PD: You should buy a bunch of ducats, fix the old bus, load it with brats and suds, and sell tix....make yourself a tidy profit...keeps you out of the can bidness. I'll throw down.

Hmmm....2 tickets for about 40 or 50, a three hour drive, a hotel, gas, my time (which is more valuable than all of the above) vs. 30 bucks on PPV or if we get lucky a free JPO broadcast. I'll take the PPV/JPO option please.

WE have four tickets to each of these games, row nine, 40 yard line. Any takers, ROFL.
The only good thing about these four games is that the Vols should win them all, Kentucky may put up a good fight.

TJ, the suds and brats are a go. If I was to fix the old bus, I'd have to sit in it with an extension cord to a 13" b&w tv. 60 gallons at $3.94 = $236.40 and I haven't left the yard yet. Not to mention 3 extra qts of erl.
How about her new Grand Marquis, her gas, no tickets till you pay $5-10 each for the N Ill Siwash or such ilk on Cumberland with 3.575 pitches of suds down the hatch with a large pizza? Out about $60.00 total.
Then we could watch Phil work his magic. Have enuf left over for a downstroke on a Ninth annual no-ring ring.

Really Workin'? So your time is so valuable that you can't take the time to cheer on your beloved team in person? How is it that you (and your clone Silent) have time to post over 800 times in 70 days on this site with your anti-Vol/Fulmer tripe? I for one will drive the 8 hour round trip, pay for the gas, hotel, tailgating refreshments and be at each and every one of these games. Meanwhile you will be on your couch posting your phooey. To each his own.

WorkinLikeHeck and a few others post 800 times in 7 days because they have no social life. Some people try to get a social life vicariously by talking to people on a chat board. I can take or leave this KNS site because I do have a social life and a few other hobbies besides Tennessee football. Ashley, how many more days to kickoff?

I suppose Ashley has some kind of love for CPF. Sad thing is, I've only seen one poster on here refer to Fulmer as CPF. Imposter! I think so.
Also, the haters of CPF that actually matter made their diadain known a long time ago, through formal letters and meetings with the AD and the coach. For the most part, the people that post on here don't have a thing to do with the athletics department, and if they do, their contribution is negligible compared to the people who pay stupid money for REAL opinions.
So your seething reality of seeing someone standing on a box and preaching of Fulmer's failure(s) are just fantasy. Also, attacking other people on a message board only makes you as bad as the people you're attacking. You all look like internet message board toolbags. A little forethought next time might alleviate some ridiculousness later.
Oh, I might have attacked you in that last line. Don't get angry. Don't tell me to take a sedative or not to overdose on amphetamines or whatever brilliant response you may have brewing. Incoming! Because you can't control it.

For some, the 10 wins may be the problem, for others it has to do more with when we loose , who it is to and how we loose.
Vandy has done a better job of being competitive against our core rivals than we have.
We just aren't competitive against any of our top rivals anymore with the exception of GA.

I've been at UT for three years, and I can unequivocally state that no fan base is as negative as the Vol football fan base. In fact, Jeff Sagarin, of Sagarin rankings fame, has told me that he gets two times more hate mail from Vol fans than any other team! And the irony is that his ranking system is completely done by mathematical formulas, not personal viewpoints! Keep booing and hissing and see where it will get you all. Go Vols!

There's no paranoia. Ashley's post called for the anti-Fulmer crowd to do a peaceful protest of Fulmer on September 6th at the stadium. Not that she's a party to such action, but it is rather annoying to see all of this "ousting" conversation get started back up again and we haven't even began the dang season.
All I was saying to her was, the people that would take a part in such action probably haven't invested a cent into the athletics program, except to be one the people buying tickets from the "street vendors."
The people that dump ridiculous amounts of money into this school year in and year out, the ones that attend all of the functions that an active contributor can, those are the people that will be heard first and loudest.
Fortunately for us all, most of their opinions will either be heard behind closed doors or via written letters.
Also, I was not trying to say that some people's opinions don't matter; although I was trying to say that those that contribute loads of time and money to the school will be heard first and loudest of all.
So if you have an opinion and you don't like the way the program's being run, up your monetary ante and send a letter to the AD. Your voice will be louder and stronger.
Money talks. Flat-out truth. Welcome to Capitalism 101.
