Lady Vols signee Bass sits out all-star game
The Kentucky girls' All-Star team scored a record 101-62 victory over Indiana at Louisville Gardens in the second game of the annual home-and-home series, completing its first sweep since 1991.
Tennessee Lady Vols signee Briana Bass, who is from Indianapolis, went through warm-ups but didn't play for Indiana. The 5-foot-3 point guard suffered a left knee injury in mid-February. At the time, the injury was reported to be a sprain.
Bass will be evaluated by the Lady Vols athletic training staff when she arrives for the second session of summer school next month.
