Coleman, Foster, Taylor.

OrangeCrush writes:

Coors, Fosters, Corona (with a lime). These selections are available at your local Goodfellows Mkt.

nakamine writes:

i like that pick buddy....no guarantees on crompton, although we all know he has the tools. the offense should be fairly run heavy early on to protect him, with his main threat being the PA...hopefully he'll be able to have more opportunities to sling the ball later in the year once confidence is high.

b_neas writes:

any pick with Jones not in it is nuts, kid is amazing, if they would get creer the ball he could be a big time player, not sure they will give him chances though, you have to include crompton since he is the qb

CoverOrange writes:

Fulmer, Chavis and Chavis' twins. j/k

I sure am glad to see an Alabama fan on our site. Now we must be the most popular team in the SEC if other teams are wanting to hang with us.
GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

invisiblekid writes:

Chris Scott, Anthony Parker, Josh McNeil, Jacques McClendon and Ramon Foster. If these guys don't do their jobs well, then no one else on that list can do theirs.

cjraney writes:

Would like to see Creer,Foster, and Jones be the centerpieces.

cjraney writes:

The Big 3 from the FireAnt Defense will be Rico Tubbs, Sonny Crockett,no wait...Rico McCoy, Berry, and Morley.

That FireAnt stings!

I'd take the Marky Mark look-a-like anyday over Sarah Jessica John Parker Wilson Phillips. Ya'll may have crept up and stole one from us last year, but you're dead in the water this year. Watch out for those tough non-conference games! Y'all don't have to go up against that one power house y'all played last year again this year do you? What was that team's name... oh yeah Louisiana Lafayette! I hope you're ready for a dissapointing season. They'll be calling for Saban's head after this year in Tuscaloser.

I'm going out on that limb and saying maybe Hardesty stay healthy and becomes the man.

Crompton will throw for 1900+ because he will have to.

Killian Red will suffice for the nerves when we meet the Bruins.

The 2-9 will have to step up.......

bobo_the_vol writes:

Crompton, Hardesty, Jones .. good woody words there.

FishTacos writes:

Blah, Blah, Blah!! Beat Florida, win the SEC, go to a BCS Bowl, and put Tennessee football back on the map. Until then I don't care. Phil has a whole lot of work to do. Phil is about to get an extension for 8 years at 3 million dollars a year. That is a mockery. 3 mil a year for the Outback Bowl.

LadyVolsEighTimes writes:

It is a Team Sport, no matter how great three or more may play it takes the whole team to win games. THe practice squad is important, fans, cheerleaders and the Band. The groundskeepers do one great job at Neyland.

I'd rather have four RBs with 500 to 600 total yards as one with 2000. As far as individuals, I really like a Big Back that gets two yards almost every carry and always one yard.

I also can be very happy with the Vols winning every game 17 to 13, 21 to 13 is even better but not a requirement. Hell it might be boring, but 3 to 2 wins work as well.

LadyVolsEighTimes writes:

Nobody, where did ya get that tidbit of info on Fulmer's salary?

pdhuff#552644 writes:

TT, tell me again when the Grail is coming to Knoxberg?

FishTacos writes:

That 3 million a year was being floated by WBIR on their newscast last night. Steve Phillips said that Fulmer said he was going to stick around for at least 8 more years and Hamilton was finalizing a deal at around 3 million a year.

samjrr writes:

I did'nt see the punter.

CoverOrange writes:

TDTN, yep, those three are pretty offensive.

eduardo writes:

The big six 0's beside F$$lmer's contract are the most offensive thing I have seen this off season. Oh yeah it's the f bomb who cares?

budrhon writes:

How about Foster,Jones & Creer. Not sold on Crompton, yet.

Ralph_Crampton writes:

I have always wondered why Crompton did not play last year..hardy at all...If he was slated to be the starting QB this year...why wasn't he playing more..seems strange to me. Generally a QB is brought along slowly in big games. Just thought I would throw that out there to see what some of you guys think.

CoverOrange writes:

Two reasons, Cutcliffe expected that he wouldn't be coaching Crompton after last year and he wanted to ensure his legacy of having all his star QBs drafted in the NFL. Just a guess.

There are rumors that Crompton and Cut didn't get along and Crompton didn't get "it". But if that were the case why not play Coleman or Stephens?

TommyJack writes:

The better Crompton looks this year, the more Cut looks like an azz.

kisnjas#228679 writes:

Many fans have been critical of Fulmer for not making the most out of talent at UT. In 2000/2001, Cosey coleman would have been awesome, but he went pro early. In 2003, Jason Witten would have helped Clausen win one, but he went pro early. Now, in 2008, jerod majo would have made the defense a beast, but he goes pro early. I can't say that I blame them for taking the money, but that is the cause of the championship drought. Coach fulmer gets the blame, which he is paid well for, but the players need to trust him and stay through their entire commitment. When that happens, we will wiin another one.

pdhuff#552644 writes:

TJ 7:29 - you 'll eat those words when Cut pulls off a win over Wofford at Dook. Or maybe Siwash.

Off subject - good article at tennessean.com -Global warming skeptics launch attack on Gore -
who knew?

TommyJack writes:

PD: good read re Gore. BTW, I trust you're purchasing the appropriate carbon offset to equalize the gas you're gonna use on trip to FL...Waste is a terrible thing to mind.

What is a day job?

Mine is feeding two dogs, a big cat and about 250 bluegill.

JHCRANE writes:

Crompton,Foster, and Jones are our big three for sure. That is what I voted for and it seems that most of you did to.

Orangebleeder47 writes:

Crompton, Foster, and Jones...Although there is a huge list of play makers we have on the offensive side of the ball...

JHCRANE writes:

We do have a lot of offense playmakers but hopefully they can all stay in good health. Go Vols 69 days left can't wait.

Orangebleeder47 writes:

Speaking of good health has anyone heard about the condition of Lucas Taylor and whoever else is on injury reserve?

pdhuff#552644 writes:

Pat Forde on ESPN.com (who's never wrong) has a good read - "Midsummer Night's Dream"-

Some won't like his take that either Spurrier or Fulmer will be gone after this year. He says we'll be 3-3 heading into Athens.

He apparently has not heard of the 2-9.

gnm53108 writes:

Frompton,Foster,Taylor. But I believe that if were going to have a great year,Something better than 7-5,it's going to have to come from the other side of the ball.Which I do think is going to happen. Our defense is over due for a great season.See 2005 for the last great defense and the Cheif isnt going to have this many bad seasons in a row.

gnm53108 writes:

Sorry should be Crompton. Its getting late and I am starting to think about some koolaid.

pdhuff#552644 writes:

How about, that mule, old Rivers and me.

RemembertheAlamo writes:

where is Berry's name on the list? yes he may be on defense, but sometimes the defense is better putting the offense in scoring position than the offense is. Berry is one of the top 3!
