Alexander up for Olympic consideration

Tennessee Lady Vols freshman Annie Alexander finished first in the discus (178 feet, 3 inches) and second in the shot put (55-3) in her native Trinidad & Tobago’s Olympic Trials this weekend.

She needs to improve her discus to 193-7 to top the Olympic "B" qualifying standard. He shot put meets the standard so she will be up for consideration.
