Wednesday morning’s hearing in Sessions Court on DUI charges involving Tennessee punter Britton Colquitt has been rescheduled for July 7.

A previous hearing related to Colquitt’s Feb. 17 arrest was also postponed in April.

Colquitt, 23, had his scholarship removed by UT coach Phillip Fulmer and was suspended for UT’s first five games this season after Colquitt’s arrest for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.

Police said Colquitt, a second-team All-SEC selection last season, admitted to having two beers and three mixed drinks before hitting a parked car near the Old City and later a tree stump.

Punter Chad Cunningham is likely to start for UT’s season opener at UCLA on Sept. 1.
