New York Liberty guard Loree Moore agreed to a three-year contract extension. The former Tennessee Lady Vol scored a career-best 9.6 points per game and ranked fourth in the WNBA with 4.8 assists last season. Her 2.2 steals per game ranked second in the league.
Meanwhile, former Lady Vol Sidney Spencer scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds in 19 playing minutes for the U.S. national team in an 82-72 exhibition victory over Spanish professional team Ros Casares. The game was part of the U.S. team's training trip to Spain.
