TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama forward Richard Hendrix has decided to enter the NBA draft, but is leaving the door open to return for his senior season.
The All-Southeastern Conference pick said he will not hire an agent. That gives him until 10 days before the June 26 draft to withdraw his name.
Hendrix’s averages of 17.8 points and 10.1 rebounds a game led the Crimson Tide. He ranked among the SEC’s top five in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage and blocked shots.

Welcome to GoBamaXtra.com. We know from the last 24 hrs that Jay Barker is getting married, one of our ex-defensive players died of cancer and that one of our basketball players may be entering into the draft. I can't wait to hear what comes next.

He's a second rounder at best. He needs to get his team into the NCAA tourney where his stock would grow. Right now I don't see him ready. Definitely should leave the door WIDE open.
